iMac or Mac Mini M4?

I currently have an iMac M1, 16 GB, 512 GB and am actually quite happy with it for Lightroom Classic, PS, Topaz Photo AI and Helicon Remote/Focus.
I am considering switching to the new Mac Mini M4.
Does anyone have experience switching from an iMac M1 to a Mac Mini M4 - is it worth the money?

If you’re happy with the iMac I wouldn’t switch. Wait until it doesn’t do what you want. When it’s holding you back, thats the time to switch. I‘ve been using the Mac min for years and love it. I like the option of getting whatever monitor I would like. I realize you can use a second monitor with an iMac but that doesn’t interest me. My next purchase will be the M4 mini sometime this winter.

I agree, I wouldn’t recommend switching just to switch. While the M4 is the new shiny, the M5 will be out before you know it and you can get an M4 for a lot less.
