Image in Ducks Unlimited 2021 Photo Calendar

One of my images of a Blue Wing Teal gets a cameo appearance in DU's calendar this year. I submitted a 1:1 aspect image without thinking, so no "Centerfold" spot for me.

They'll be on sale soon, generally $20. It's a good cause; DU invests millions every year in habitat restoration, benefiting all wildlife not just waterfowl.

Really great stuff ...
... and another real good example for putting the priorities right. Get the right moment, the right guy with 'a' camera knowing how to use it and you get this kind of shot. And suddenly nobody asks about the age of the camera, the CPU of the photographer's hand, the coating of his reading glasses, the color profile and low light tolerance of the duck ... well, may be I mixed something up here, but ... .
