Here’s why I love the D500. Working on some shrikes and I saw this guy take off towards me. Grabbing focus and getting off a shot was under a second and that’s all the time available. Just two shots in the sequence. The speed of the camera is insane.

D500 remains one of the classic wildlife cameras. Nice reactions and result with such a heavy lens as the 400mm.
