Johns Hopkins Glacier

First time visiting Alaska via Norwegian Cruise Lines, had some amazing weather (I'm told) and took this photo of Johns Hopkins Glacier. Impressive to see in person, hard to capture its majesty but I tried :)

I think it is a beautiful photo. I have never seen a Glacier in my life - therefore I enjoy your photo a lot
Thank you! I had not seen one before either so a bucket list item was definitely crossed off. I think I recall reading in other posts that you live in Australia?

Any opportunity to see some in the Antarctic Circle if that’s something you’re interested in? My in-laws took a cruise from South America to Antarctica back in January and said the glaciers there make Alaska’s glaciers seem puny 😳

I stay a bit higher up - In South Africa (Cape Town) but OZ is definitely on the list to visit - and do some overlanding
