I’ve been trying for quiet some time to get a decent shot of one of these to no avail. Today I found one in the garage on my wife’s car door handle. I got several shots at f/8 and settled for this one. It’s certainly not the depth of field I would have liked to got but it will do until the next time. It was shot with a Nikon Z7 and a 105mm VR macro lens.

How wonderful! Sharp face and front legs! Cute little guy! I have no idea if they are in our area! I'd try photographing one if I could find one! LOL!

Thanks, they're plentiful here but getting them to cooperate is another story lol. They have very erratic movements.

I like the depth of field with the eyes in focus, I think it works well for many macro subjects! Especially this little spider, looks like he's making eye contact with most of his eyes! Well done.

Thank you. It took 15 shots to get a couple decent ones. I’ve thought about catching one so I can photograph it but not sure if they bite lol.
