A few weeks ago I monitored the progress of "Junior" the only check in an eagle's nest on Miller Creek. Bad weather and a calcified tendon kept me from kayaking on Miller Creek until yesterday.
Sure enough the nest was now empty so I kayaked further up Miller Creek
On the return, paddling on the opposite side of the Creek there was a young eagle almost directly across the creek from Junior's nest. He/she was practicing fling maneuvers.
The tide took me alog the creek towards "Junior"
Here are uncroped images of the nest and Junior. The final shot was almost directly vertical, looking up at "Junior"
