A small flock of Trumpeter Swans arrived early this week, and have spent a few days on our segment of the Trent River in eastern Ontario, Canada. As of this afternoon, they are still here. The images below were taken at various times earlier in the week.
The first two images were taken in blue hour with the full moon providing a lot of the light. I'm impressed as to how well the camera dealt with the low light.
For those wondering, one of the group was tagged (second image). This doesn't seem to affect their ability to fly.
