Hi Mike,
Many thanks for looking and commenting,
The Owl was sitting quite high up in the dense foliage and I was driving and focusing on the jeep track when my wife spotted it,
I actually reversed quite slowly until I had a clear view of the bird which then sat quietly while we observed and took the pictures.
