Thanks to a friend and retired vet who does a similar daily river walk to me I nabbed these shots of a local fisherman...well it is the Tweed after all...!

Thanks Steven! My card was full so some frantic deleting was needed and thankfully he obliged. Appreciate the comment especially in view of some of your A1 beauties. I’m sure we’re both glad to have left the Zii behind for wildlife 😃. Library now backed up and cards reformatted!

Good idea Murie, thanks. He was certainly very considerate and when I explained I’d just seen the kingfisher move and was hoping for a photo, he replied “What would you like me to do?” 😄

The one with the fish was the day after, though 👍
 
You may well know already, but I hadn't appreciated it's identifiable as a male because of the all black beak, the lower beak being red in the female.
