Fall has started here in Northwest Montana, cloudy days, 56 degrees today, and a skiff of snow atop one of our ski resorts.
These are from a few weeks ago. These were taken on one of the days I just described - a cold, rainy, overcast day.
First, there was one.

Then there were four. I think this is a family. I observed this same thing last summer but never had the four of them on the same roost.
