It's raining and we need it. This is a mother hunting for her recently fledged youngster, and she is upset and gave me 'that look.' It's dad was on another tree..
I've post the Kites before and they seem ignored, but I like em.

Great shot Charles. What kind of a Kite is it? I sometimes see White Tailed Kites, but if I get within 150 feet of them they take off, so I can never get really good shots. Ken

Mississippi Kite - they appear here (south Kansas) in early May, leave in mid September. This was looking for her offspring, it recently fledged it's nest.
