While the white-backed vultures clean an elephant carcass, they are joined by another much more impressive vulture. The lappet-faced vulture settles in and clearly shows who is the leader.

It was in the morning. Apart from the lappet-faced vulture, the most significative element was the smell of the decaying elephant corpse
