Nice composition. Something I have observed in post is that a crop that puts the primary subject along a diagonal line drawn from an upper corner to the opposite lower corner provide good balance and the eye naturally travels from upper left to lower right whether from our learning to read or as a natural phenomena. That is an advantage of leaving space around a subject to provide more options for cropping in post.
