I was watching a beaver dam this morning and when they stood me up, I decided to wander down the creek and see how things looked.

These two Least Sandpipers were wandering and feeding, and after I crouched in the creek for a painfully long time, they started to wander closer and closer.

Already made a 17x22 print out of the first one and it looks phenomenal.

Thanks! I was holding the camera by the tripod collar rotated upside down and hovering the camera just above the water using live view on the back screen to compose. It was a little awkward but worth it.
