Checking to find Monarch eggs laid on milk weed plants I came across this early stage caterpillar. Took a number

of shots handheld while holding up the leaf so I could see the underside. Used my Tamron 90mm but still needed to crop in to get more observable detail.
 
Thanks Alan. They are indeed tiny. You need a magnifying glass or a macro lens in my case to see any detail.
 
Thanks Dan. Glad you appreciate these shots. Often takes some strange bending, twisting and turning to find the subject and maintain focus. I am always amazed when nature creates an exact tiny-tiny replica of the final subject.
