I would suggest giving yourself a little more space in the image, particularly in the bottom of the image; and I would also suggest a luminosity mask to give it a bit more "pop". Nicely done!
Give it more room, its too tight.

Nice detail and certainly a smooth BG, but I agree with the first 2 posts: it is too tight. Don't know if you cropped or not, but if you did not, it would be easy to add canvas because of the smooth BG.
Agree with the above. In addition head tilt slightly more to the right (the birds right) could also improve the image. Colorful image with very nice chest.
Nice angle on the bird, nice twist of the head, and great detail. As other have said a bit more room might be preferable. Also applying a vignette to subtly darken the BG might help.
