While doing the first focus stack with the addition of a NISI close up filter I thought I would do a comparison of a stack with just the 105 S Macro and one with the NISI filter. The filter stack combined nicely and needed no major editing. I have included an example of each shot so everyone can see the quality and size comparison.

Wink - Thanks for your comments.
I agree specifically the second is a better composition. My goal was to show the relative size difference using the NISI filter and to check on the IQ from both. I do not notice any appreciable degradation by using the NISI closeup filter other than it is a bit softer when pixel peeping on the originals.
