Wife and I were headed home after a visit with our grandson in the DFW metroplex. On the way back we came across this Red-tailed hawk. It was in some trees very close to the highway and was very noticiable. We turned around and went back to get a few images.

I thought it might be a Red-tail but wasn't sure so I sent pics to my local bird ID expert and he confirmed it was a Red-tail.
