We did not spend a lot of time in town. Instead we took excursions on the beagle channel and the strait of magellan. We did run in to these guys on their way to Antarctica.

Nice shot. If you can, take a day trip to Isla Martillo to see King, Gentoo, and Magellanic penguins. Take the tour with Piratour so you actually get off the boat and walk around amongst the penguin colonies.
