After getting home, the lighthouse keeper sent out a note to a private group that he was going to turn it back on Monday, July 31, for the anniversary of Split Rock (initially it was just Friday as they get more pepole on a weekend). Suprisingly there was hardly anyone there but millions of mosquitos were, but what was nice was the beacon was steady for an hour; so he had it spinning an hour, then put it still for photographers and I kind of like this one. More to go through, but the beams are nice I think, and wildfire smoke I think ehanced them a bit. Thanks for any feedback; it's a dark image, but it's night. Moon would have been nice to light up the rock a bit but no complaints.
