The Little Corella is, as the name suggests, a small parrot with a widespread range in Australia and New Guinea. This species is a member of the cockatoo family. They are social birds, gathering in flocks of more than 1000 birds to forage for food. These parrots usual forage on the ground, searching for seeds to eat. They are easily identified by their the large patch of wrinkled blue skin that surrounds their eyes and onto extends to their cheeks.
