So happy to get this picture today (22/10/21) at my local nature reserve in Shoeburyness, Essex (UK).

I used my D500 with Sigma 150-600C (at max), setting s 1/1600 f.8 and auto-iso came in at 640.

How far away was it? I still have issues knowing how far is too far to waste my time shooting with my D500 and Sigma 150-600mm C

About 30 feet or so. Hardly any crop.
