On our recent visit to Dinosaur National Monument we saw several lizards - current and past. It's like the modern lizards were hanging around with the old timers hoping something would rub off on them and help them grow. We were there in 1979 and again, this year. It was amazing then, and more so now.

The surrounding National Monument lands are exquisite and full of incredible landscape opportunities, petroglyphs, wildlife, and more if you are able to venture on the hiking trails and drive offroad- which we did not. We only had one full day to see what we could, but it was a great day.
