There’s a Love / Hate relationship with some neighbors with the Coyotes in the rural area where I reside. Me , I like to Photograph them as with this one that was a little too close for the D500 with the 500mm PF. Wide open f5.6 and Spot Focus on those eyes.

There‘s a lot of Coyotes in our area and not too many Cats. I’d say they are naturally very wary by instinct though on occasion they get a little too curious. This young pup was photographed with morning back light last year and he started walking towards me. Yes they can get curious but cautious.

Nice ones Vern. Coyotes are really a polorizing animal. I think they're beautiful and I enjoy photographing them. For many they get hunted for sport.

Thanks Bill, I would think your place has an abundance of them. I too enjoy photographing them and watching them in the Fields hunting.
