Lock & Dam and Crepuscular Rays

It looked like an approaching storm. Then for some reason it swung north and the clouds dissipated. I caught this at the peak. Took a series of pictures. Liked this one the best. The seagull caught in the ray was a bonus!

Maybe someday I'll learn the name of the symmetrical rays I once saw emanating from the sun itself...

Those are both Crepuscular and Anti-crepuscular rays. When they go up, they are anti-crepuscular. Lovely picture BTW!
