Nice set of a cool looking little bird, I love their little masks and the warm light and color is lovely.
Thanks, it's new species for me......I learned it's technically a songbird, but has the habits of a raptor.

From the All About Birds site...................."A Loggerhead Shrike can kill and carry an animal as massive as itself. It transports large prey in its feet and smaller victims in its beak."

I find that an amazing fact for this little bird, would love to have seen it with a prey item.
