Lone Tree and Long Roots

Here you see a lone tree sitting on a column. That column was once connected to the larger cliff. Several years ago that bridge collapsed isolating the tree. Interestingly, the tree roots survived and still tie the tree to the main shore, and the tree survives as a result. So we heard from the tour guides.
