The trouble with reading and watching too much information is trying to recall something that you saw but thought you would not need to bookmark for future reference. I recently saw a tripod review on YouTube that I did not pay as much attention to as I should have and have now forgot the product that was reviewed. What was unique about the tripod, and I believe that it may have been a compact model, is the leg design. Unlike the standard tube legs that retract into each other, the second leg of this tripod was somewhat solid, but channeled, and that it retracted between the primary leg which was a more open design, very similar to this wooden model from Berelbach - https://www.berlebach.de/en/?bereich=details&id=249 . I know that the reviewer commented on this design as it was easy to clean since it was solid and remained exposed. I also know that it had rubber feet that could be removed and replaced with spikes. If this sounds familiar, can you please let me know?

Thanks,

Leave it to my tablet to recommend it as a search result (as my desktop history did not produce any results). The tripod was the Sunwayfoto T1A20, which also appears to be a "clone" of the RRS TFA-32. A bit heavier and more expensive that I remembered, but I am glad I found it.
