looking for bear watching tour in lower BC in early October

We will be in British Columbia in early October.

There are a number of wildlife tours by boat out of Campbell River. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these tours or if they have any recommendations for tours. Also, will early October be too late in the season?

We will be staying there for about four or five days and would like to get out on one of those boats and shoot wildlife. With cameras and long lenses not guns.

Advice much appreciated.
