It seems like Nikon has a lens case for just about every lens but their $1,000 Z105 Micro lens. The soft close "case" they give you with it is just about useless. Does anyone have a viable alternative? Thanks

Most of the Z lenses are shipped with a soft fabric lens case. The pouches that used to come with F mount lenses might be a viable alternative but you’d have to determine which one would fit the lens in question. The CL-1022 soft lens case for the 70-300 lens might be a good option.
The F mount soft cases are often available from online camera retailers and from KEH.
I have the DLP4 bag from JJC, available from Ali Express.
My Z 105 fits perfectly, and the bag is incredibly well made, well padded, waterproof.

I have 6 extras that I plan to post on BCG for sale soon (did a bit of silly over-buying last year). Used to be available from all our favorite vendors, but I just checked and they seem to be out of stock everywhere I look. Might be discontinued as I think about it, they used to come with F-mount lenses back when real cases (vs a flimsy cloth) came with lens purchases.
