Wanted to see how Adobe Generative Fill would do on this image and then also decided to reprocess it.
I'll give you a screen shot of the branch in the way.

It did well indeed but with something relatively clean to remove, I would probably have tried the remove tool first. It's quicker I find...
Uses similar or same AI; generative fill gives you three options though and my purpose as stated was to test that. I wanted to see the three options. I do agree that it works just as well. Not that I am likely to use up my AI credits but do you know if the remove tool uses a credit or not. I could see people using that alot.

Yes it's good to have the choice of 3 (or more if necessary) options. I find it usually works well with the first 3. I don't know what you mean by using up credits though?

Photography plan has 100 credits a month. So you couldn't use 4 a day. I don't think it counts and it looks like Adobe is delaying counting usage until 2024.

More on Adobe AI credits.

I went back to another one and once again the Generative Fill was easiest, although I actually used the Remove Tool quite effectively for one remaining artifact so I used both. For me choosing the area with a selection tool seems more "accurate" than painting to start and I get three choices.
