Beautiful bird. Akin to our Spotted Towhees here in California. Nice low perspective, low sun angle. Very nice. If it were my image, I would consider raising the shadow on the bird, reducing the highlight white on the " sun side" of the bird, and reducing the exposure of the background. I would do this by using adjustment layers, curves, and brushing in the changes. I do not think you have to be precise in doing this, but I want the bird to "jump out" at you from the background. Maybe bringing up the vibrance, via an adjustment layer, on the orange of the bird also would be an attention drawing change.
For me, the Spotted Towhee, can be difficult to photograph well as they do not want to get up off the ground very much, so it can be tough to get a good perspective on my shot. You have done well here.
