Thanks, guys for your comments. This is the quintessential example of being in the right place at the right time. This image was taken from a deer blind at almost dark. Normally, I would have been long gone by this time. Nikon D3, 500mm 4.0/tc1.4, 1/30 @5.6, ISO 200, +0.5 Exposure Comp. My motor drive on the D3 was smoking and the sound seemed to be of interest to the cats as they remained posed for a couple of minutes. Much cloning of grass particles was required to clean the image up. This photo was taken on a ranch in South Texas.
