Mars "rising" over the Moon at the end of the occultation event. Glare from the bright full moon obscured Mars to the naked eye at the point when these photos were taken, but it was visible through binoculars and also through the camera viewfinder.

Thanks! I was also surprised by the level of detail captured with conventional photographic equipment in a single shot (not stacked images). As this heavily cropped image from my series shows, the Canon R5II and 600mm f/4 lens with 1.4x TC even recorded detail of the Martian surface, including a hint of the polar ice cap.
