Tried to post an image and it said too big. It did not say what was the max size permitted ? So ....

So I got to go through all that resizing carap so I don't think I will bother. Other sites I use have re sizing built in and cut it to 10MB
I always resize before posting anything on the web. Then it is done my way with decent software. I would not allow an unknown bit of software tamper with my images.

Resizing isn't a big deal. If you have Lightroom, for example, a few clicks and you're done. Or use a preset.
In the help I posted above Steve made a free Lightroom preset for resizing, if Photoshop File/export as works fine or Steve had a sharpening action that gave 1200 pixel wide jpg. Other programs all have export or save a copy menus.
You can also link to another site. I use IMGBB. It integrates with the forum code. The result is much sharper images.
