The problem is with my 300mm F4 ED IF lens (yes, an old one ...)
I bought it over 10y ago ... , amazing sharpness, Anyway , When I tried connect it with the FT2 something happened with the electric part got fail , My local Nikon service center says they dont support it anymore,

Does anyone knows if there's a Nikon consumers global support center which can give answers for technically issues ?

Is that an older screw drive lens? If so I don’t think it works with the Z bodies.

As David pointed out, this is an older D lens which does not have its own focus motor so even if everything is working properly, it won't autofocus.
