I was just out in the kayak, and found this mink - they are always the most curious critters! He spotted me and came a bit closer to get a better look, a behavior I've seen a number of times before. At first, he was too close to focus the 600 f6.3. Southeast Alaska, near Sitka.

Thanks for the kind words. I just LOVE your Arctic shots! I've been to Churchill for polar bears once, and would really love to go to Svalbard or other places to see them, as well as the other Arctic wildlife. Hope you had a good Victoria Day holiday!
