A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be able to spend one week in Iceland! As Iceland is the only place in Europe where you can find (wild) harlequin ducks, I was buzzed to see these beautiful ducks. We had quite bad luck with the weather, a tight schedule and bird photography was not on top of the priority list. However, I was able to find a couple of harlequins and snap a few photos. They were perched on a dark rock formation in the water. As conditions were quite grey and dark, I tried to go with a bit of a darker edit.

Please feel free to let me know if you like it or not or if there is anything I could do differently!

Btw. ISO 12800 on the D500. DxO Deep Prime NR is pretty amazing!
