Golden light on melting Marmo - Ice compressing, stressing, creating beautiful patterns of striations.

I started with a 5 shot focus stack, then drew out the colors and forms that I saw - parts verging on pointillism.

I've been doing landscape for many years, but was generally not satisfied/happy with the results. Around 2016 I started a determined effort to get more control over my output - took a couple of years, but started to be able to create works that I actually liked... Then again, I post very few renderings of what I capture, and try to only post works that are at least "very good" or quite interesting in some aspect (some of my early posts on Flickr do not meet either criteria though). It's a constant learning/experimenting process for me, and I have (even more extreme!) directions I hope to go in. Glad you like the results! :)
