After leaving Sprague and Bear Lake, we went to the Moraine Park area of Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). We drove down the roadto the Fern Lake Trailhead and were blessed with a pair of young bull elk - truly young. They were following the fenceline, so we went down the road and waited quietly. I got a few shots when they came out of the trees (three 24mp crops) and one full frame shot of each moose. Just nubs for antlers, but still moose up close!
