Finally made it back to Moraine and went twice, skipping a third trip out as I was exhaused and had a lot of driving that morning and it was rainy.
I do mostly birds and wildlife, and landscape is different as you have so much light and parts of the image that are shadowy and then where the light is. Tried to do my best here using light on the mountain and the clouds to get them right. My ND Grad filter broke (!) and fell off the holder (oops) but another one arrives Monday. Had a Circular Polarizer and worked on the sky in Adobe RAW and then in Photoshop to bring it down, and adjust contrast on the water and sky, and bring out texture on the mountains; adjusted the trees slightly to bring up shadows and added saturation to them so they did not appear dull.
