More of the Cooper's hawk fledglings

Another fantastic few days with the four fledgling Cooper's hawks. Despite heat in the 110s, the kids are active and continue their path toward independence. The four are still begging for parents to feed them, and they oblige. Tucson, AZ.

the fledgling has the leg of a bird in its talon, but also has the bark. It kept trying to free itself, but wouldn't let go of the food :) Hilarious to watch.

Running and being chased. Maybe looking for lizards.
 
It's a wonder any of them reach independence. LOL Absolutely love #3 for content. All of them are really great images and tell a story well. :)
