Here are three images of juvenile Peregrine Falcons taken as they learn to fly. The first image shows a fledgeling as it practices taking off from a cliff ledge. In the second image, a fledgling casts a perfect shadow on the cliff after it takes off. The third image shows that it doesn't take long for the juveniles to get the fierce look of a peregrine as they fly right at you.
