Morning Dew

The past week or so, almost every morning it has been very foggy. This morning was no different. While getting ready to leave the shop and head to Virginia Beach, I spotted this spiderweb in a tree backlit by the rising sun. Decided to shoot it with the long lens first. I did get out and shoot it tighter with my 60mm macro but just not impressed with how it turned out. That image is below as well. Which one do yo think looks best??

Jesse, chalk and cheese, but both nice. #1 compositional wise will be my preference. Hover, #2, although very striking, lacks the corners of the web that my eyes are searching for.
