Yes, a Cliche shot for sure, but happen to be driving by and the water was flowing nice. The boardwalk is still closed. I shot this from the road side bank of the stream. didn't have my waders with me! LOLOne of the most photogenic falls in VT. Is the short boardwalk still blocked off? Last time I drove by they had the short boardwalk blocked off with boards and people were forced to photograph from the road or wade across the stream.
Thank You!Beautiful
I wouldn't say it's cliche, a commonly photographed location for sure simply due to it's ease of access. But it's nice to have such a beautiful and photogenic waterfall so easily accessible. It's nice to occasionally not have to hike to get to a nice set of falls. It's also nice that you can photograph them on a sunny day in the morning or afternoon when the sun is behind the mountains and not have to worry about hotspots and blowing out highlights. It's one of the few falls in the area that you don't have to wait for an overcast day to shoot.Yes, a Cliche shot for sure, but happen to be driving by and the water was flowing nice. Thanks, This Moss Glen Falls is right on Route 100 in Granville, VT, (South of Warren) Can't miss it. The other one in Stowe is a very short walk . I've never found an angle to shoot the Stowe one that really satisfied me. Not sure why they carry the same name.Nice one! Definitely makes me want to check out the location next time I'm visiting my S-I-L in Vergennes. (On a side note, I find it odd that there are two "Moss Glen Falls" in VT within an hour of each other.)
