Mountain Bluebird

Although this species is widespread across North America, it has been, by far, the most difficult of the 3 NA species of Bluebird for me to get good shots of. This bird was shot in eastern Oregon with a Canon 5D4 and a 500 mm lens. Moderate crop, BG and perch darkened slightly.

Thank you. I placed this perch near a water supply that the birds come to regularly; the BG is sage about 20' behind the bird.
