Headed out this evening after work and after driving around my favorite back roads and not finding any subjects took a walk through one of the campgrounds now closed for winter and came across a small herd of Mule Deer including this mature buck right around sunset. He grazed in pretty close, too close for the lens I had mounted up and I didn't think he'd stick around while I changed to something wider so I spun the lens and went for portraits until he moved farther away.
