There's a small county park just north of Buffalo, where Murder Creek flows over Akron Falls. Most visitors go to the falls (which are very beautiful), but I like to position myself downstream, especially in the fall. Murder Creek supposedly gets its name from the murder of a young Seneca Indian woman that occurred here a couple of hundred years ago. This location is one of the many glories of upstate New York!

Very pretty and very yellow -- we didn't have much in the way of red this year, mostly yellow. Interesting tale, there's a stream near here called Young Womans Creek where the body of a young woman was apparenly found many, many years ago.
