Hi all,
New to the forums, and thought I would share my first bear. I usually shoot landscapes and was setting up a morning view of the mountains when suddenly this guy appeared. This was last week in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains Nat'l Park. Shot at 200mm with my D810, probably with all the wrong settings....

Now I understand why you buy the lenses you have. 200mm was not enough reach! I sense GAP setting in.

Looks like you could have used a little faster shutter speed to freeze the bear, but the detail in his dark coat are very good!
