What a beautiful bird, using some of the processing techniques recommended by some of you on this sight. Let me know what you think . Taken at sunrise in Great Meadow, Concord, MA . thanks

Congrats on you first capture of a new species. And you caught it on some beautiful water and a near perfect reflection.

As far as requested feedback, the EXIF data isn't showing up for me. Assuming this was shot with a D850/500mm PF then it appears to be heavily cropped. Detail isn't great and highlights on head and shoulder are a bit hot. Artistic aspects are purely subjective but a classic composition would allow more space in front of and above the bird. The general rule of thumb is to allow space in the direction that the animal is looking/moving.

What software are you using?

Using Lr 6.0. Don’t laugh. Lol. Camera is D850 lens Nikon 200-500 iso 400, ss 1/4000. Crop was heavy so, plenty of room to move the subject. Use is usually 5x7 for greeting card size.
